1. Sales Policy

1.1. Workshops

Participants of Mastering Touch in-person workshops must fill out a Registration Form and pay a $100 online deposit to secure their spot. The then registered participant will receive the payment receipt, the registration confirmation, and any necessary additional information by email.

The participant can pay the remaining tuition all the way up to the time of the event. This remaining tuition is payable through Zelle (under Charlotte Lenssen, +1 970 799 8950, charlotte_lenssen@yahoo.com), by cash, or by check (checks are payable to Charlotte Lenssen - 72 Blue Sky Drive - Durango, CO, 81328, USA). Participants who choose to make payments through credit / debit cards will be charged an extra payment fee. After receiving the remaining tuition, Mastering Touch LLC will provide the final payment receipt either in-person or via email.

During the in-person event, the participant will be asked to sign a "Release of Liability" form and a "Media Release" form. At the end of the event, the participant will receive a course manual and a certificate of completion.

Mastering Touch LLC cannot access any payment information submitted for its services or products.

1.2. e-Learning Courses

Participants of Mastering Touch online courses must fill out a Registration Form and pay the full tuition to have access to the course. The then registered participant will receive the payment receipt, the registration confirmation (containing the course manual), and any necessary additional information by email.

A certificate of completion will be sent via email after the course is completed and the corresponding test is passed.

Mastering Touch LLC cannot access any payment information submitted for its services or products.

1.3. Educational Platforms / Libraries

1.3.1. Free Tier

To subscribe to a free Mastering Touch LLC educational platform / library, community members must fill out a Registration Form. The then registered community member will receive the subscription confirmation and the link to the platform by email. The community member may have to create an additional account to have fully access to the platform.

1.3.1. Paid Tier

To subscribe to a paid Mastering Touch LLC educational platform / library, premium members must fill out a Registration Form and inform an acceptable method of payment. The then registered premium member will receive the subscription confirmation and the link to the platform by email. The premium member may have to create an additional account to have fully access to the platform.

Mastering Touch LLC cannot access any payment information submitted for its services or products.

1.4. Paid Video Content

To access a Mastering Touch paid video content, students must fill out a Registration Form and pay the full fee. The then registered student will receive the payment receipt and the link to the platform by email. The student may have to create an additional account to have fully access to the platform.

Mastering Touch LLC cannot access any payment information submitted for its services or products.

1.5. Free Webinars

If advertised as free, Mastering Touch free webinars are accessible to everyone and are free of charge. To access the webinar, participants must fill a registration form. The then registered participant will receive the meeting link by email

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1. Workshops

2.1.1. Change Or Cancellation By A Registered Participant

For any changes or cancellation, a registered participant of a Mastering Touch in-person event must contact Mastering Touch LLC by email at Connect@MasteringTouch.com.

If the registered participant wants to make a change, the participant can a) keep their tuition as credit for other Mastering Touch events or services or b) transfer their tuition as credit for other Mastering Touch events or services to another person.

If the registered participant makes a cancellation, the following scenarios apply:

- More than or exactly 30 days before the event, the participant can a) keep their tuition as credit for other Mastering Touch events or services, b) transfer their tuition as credit for other Mastering Touch events or services to another person, or c) receive a full refund minus a 10% administration fee.

- Less than 30 days before the event, the participant can a) keep their tuition as credit for other Mastering Touch events or services or b) transfer their tuition as credit for other events or services to another person.

- In case of a no show with no written email notice prior to the event, the paid deposit or the tuition is not refundable and not exchangeable.

2.1.2. Change Or Cancellation By Mastering Touch LLC

In the case an event has to be canceled or rescheduled, Mastering Touch LLC will inform the participants by email. A registered participant of a Mastering Touch in-person event must reply to the email sent by Mastering Touch LLC so that their decision is taken into account. The following scenarios may apply:

- If the event is cancelled without possible rescheduling, the participants will be offered to, a) keep their tuition as credit for other Mastering Touch events or services, b) transfer their tuition as credit for other Mastering Touch events or services to another person, or c) receive a full refund.

- If the event can be rescheduled, the participants will be offered to a) transfer their tuition and rebates to the new Mastering Touch event, b) transfer their tuition and rebates to the new Mastering Touch event to another person, c) keep their tuition as credit for other Mastering Touch events or services, d) transfer their tuition as credit for other Mastering Touch events or services to another person, or e) receive a full refund.

2.2.  e-Learning Courses

Mastering Touch’s e-learning courses are non exchangeable and non refundable.

2.3. Educational Platforms / Libraries

Mastering Touch’s subscriptions to educational platforms / libraries are non exchangeable and non refundable, but can be cancelled anytime for no additional cost. 

2.4. Video Content

Mastering Touch’s video content is non exchangeable and non refundable.

3. Referral Program

3.1. General Rules

To benefit from Mastering Touch Referral Program, a person has to be referred by another participant to the same Mastering Touch workshop. All referrals must be recorded on the registration form.

If a person is referred by another participant to the same Mastering Touch workshop, every referral registered through this process earns a $20 rebate for both the referred and the referring participant. There is no limit to how many referrals can be made by a referring participant, and it benefits both parties. A participant can only be referred once per workshop.

When the referring person is a Mastering Touch Ambassador, please see section 4. below.

3.2. Referral Rebates

3.2.1. In-Person Workshops

For in-person workshops, the total referral rebate obtained by a participant is automatically discounted from their tuition, after the initial $100 deposit has been made. If the total rebate exceeds the total tuition, the participant can choose to a) use this remaining credit for other Mastering Touch services, or b) be issued a reimbursement.

3.2.1. Online Workshops

For online workshops, a participant will be issued, after the event, a money transfer corresponding to the referral rebates cumulated.

4. Ambassador Program

Mastering Touch Ambassadors assist Mastering Touch LLC in organizing events. They can be involved with activities such as finding the right venue in a city, rounding up local folks, participating in a webinar, etc… More specifically:

- An Ambassador promotes Mastering Touch LLC's products through online and in-person events, social media, email, text messages, by printing out and giving out flyers locally, or by reaching out through any other ways they might be communicating with their contacts and database.

- An Ambassador helps referring students sign up to an event by answering questions, providing Mastering Touch LLC's contact information if necessary, and assisting potential participants to sign up for a event.

A contractual agreement may be established between an Ambassador and Mastering Touch LLC. For example, Ambassadors can receive sales commissions from Mastering Touch LLC or receive a complimentary registration for an event. Several rules apply:

- All referrals must be recorded by the participant on an event registration form. In that case, the participant referred by an Ambassador will earn a $20 rebate.

- The Ambassador will receive the commissions after the event has passed, based on the amount of referred participants who came to the event. In case a participant referred by an Ambassador makes changes or doesn't come to the event, the Ambassador will receive the lowest agreed commission.

- A minimum number of participants may be necessary for Mastering Touch LLC to maintain an event and thus ensure the commissions to the Ambassador.

- An Ambassador who attends a scheduled event may be eligible to receive a complimentary t-shirt.

- Depending on the partnership agreement, an Ambassador who refers a minimum number of participants in a specific location may be able to attend the whole scheduled event for free. In that case, the Ambassador must complete Mastering Touch LLC contact form here to provide their contact information, confirm the event they want to attend, and agree to Mastering Touch LLC's policies. Mastering Touch LLC must confirm the Ambassador's participation to the event by email for the Ambassador to be allowed to attend the event.

5. Newsletter Program

When a person submits a form on the Mastering Touch website or any websites affiliated to a Mastering Touch product or service, they are then considered a Mastering Touch community member. All the pertinent data submitted on a form (for example the first name, last name, email address, etc...) is recorded. Mastering Touch LLC is the only entity who can access this data. Mastering Touch LLC will never share any of this information with other parties.

Mastering Touch LLC cannot access any payment information submitted for its services or products.

Mastering Touch LLC may use the contact information for educational programs or to convey promotional materials. Anyone can request to be removed from Mastering Touch LLC Newsletter by sending an email to Connect@MasteringTouch.com.

6. Release Of Liability, Waiver Of Right To Sue, Assumption Of Risk, And Agreement To Pay Claims

Activity: Massage Therapy and / or Wellness 1) workshop (in-person or online) and / or 2) e-learning course and / or 3) webinar and / or 4) e-learning through recorded video and / or 5) private session (in-person or online).

In consideration for being allowed to be part of an Activity offered by Mastering Touch LLC, a participant, on behalf of themselves and their next of kin, heirs and representatives, releases from liability and waive their right to sue Mastering Touch LLC, their associated people, employees, officers, volunteers and agents (collectively “Mastering Touch LLC”) from any and all claims, including claims of the Mastering Touch’s negligence, resulting in any physical and / or psychological injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary / permanent disability (including paralysis), emotional and / or economic loss, and / or death they may suffer or which may result from their participation in this Activity, travel (including ground, air and water travel) to, from and during the Activity, or any events incidental to this Activity.

The participant is voluntarily partaking in this Activity. They are aware of the risks associated with their participation in this Activity, such as physical and / or psychological injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary / permanent disability (including paralysis), emotional and / or economic loss, and / or death. They understand that these injuries or outcomes may arise from 1) their own or other’s actions, inactions, or negligence, 2) conditions related to travel, 3) the condition of the Activity location(s) or facility(ies). Nonetheless, they assume all risks of their participation in this Activity, whether known or unknown to them, including travel (including ground, air and water travel) to, from and during the Activity or any events incidental to this Activity.

The participant agrees to hold Mastering Touch LLC harmless from any and all claims, loss or damage to their personal property, liabilities and costs, including attorney’s fees, as a result of their participation in this Activity, including travel to, from and during the Activity (including ground, air and water travel) or any events incidental to this Activity. If Mastering Touch LLC incurs any of these types of expenses, they agree to reimburse Mastering Touch LLC.

If a participant needs medical treatment as a result of their participation in this Activity, travel to, from and during the Activity (including ground, air and water travel), or any events incidental to this Activity, they agree to be financially responsible for any costs incurred as a result of such treatment. They are aware that Mastering Touch LLC does not provide health insurance for them and that they should carry their own health insurance.

When registering for an Activity, the participant acknowledges that they are 18 years or older, are competent to contract in their own name, have read this section and agree to its terms. They understand the legal consequences of signing up to an Activity, and they fully understand the contents, meaning and impact of this release, including 1) releasing Mastering Touch LLC from all liability, 2) waiving their right to sue Mastering Touch LLC, and 3) assuming all risks of participating in this Activity, including travel to, from and during the Activity (including ground, air and water travel)  or any events incidental to this Activity. They understand that they are free to address any specific questions regarding this release by submitting those questions in writing to Connect@MasteringTouch.com prior to signing up to an Activity, and they agree that their failure to do so will be interpreted as a free and knowledgeable acceptance of the terms of this release.

7. Media Release

Activity: Massage Therapy and / or Wellness 1) workshop (in-person or online) and / or 2) e-learning course and / or 3) webinar and / or 4) e-learning through recorded video and / or 5) private session (in-person or online).

In consideration for being allowed to be part of an Activity offered by Mastering Touch LLC, a participant, on behalf of themselves and their next of kin, heirs and representatives, grants permission to Mastering Touch LLC, their associated people, employees, officers, volunteers and agents, (collectively hereinafter known as “Mastering Touch LLC), to use their full name, image, voice and written words (such as feedback forms, online messenger / chat / text messages, emails, photographs, audio and video recordings…) for use in Mastering Touch LLC publications including: videos, email blasts, marketing documents, brochures, flyers, leaflets, banners, podcasts, testimonials, newsletters, magazines, press releases, general publications, social media, internet publications, television, radio, website and / or affiliates.

The participant hereby waives any right to inspect or approve the finished audio / video recordings, written documents, photographs or electronic matter that may be used in conjunction with them, now or in the future, whether that use is known to the participant or unknown, and the participant waives any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the image.

When registering for an Activity, the participant acknowledges that they are 18 years or older, are competent to contract in their own name, have read this section and agree to its terms. They understand the legal consequences of signing up to an Activity, and they fully understand the contents, meaning and impact of this release. They understand that they are free to address any specific questions regarding this release by submitting those questions in writing to Connect@MasteringTouch.com prior to signing up to an Activity, and they agree that their failure to do so will be interpreted as a free and knowledgeable acceptance of the terms of this release.

The participant hereby waives any right to inspect or approve the finished audio / video recordings, written documents, photographs or electronic matter that may be used in conjunction with them, now or in the future, whether that use is known to the participant or unknown, and the participant waives any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the image.

When registering for an Activity, the participant acknowledges that they are 18 years or older, are competent to contract in their own name, have read this section and agree to its terms.
